A Sense of Pride

The Korean War Memorial presents multiple amazing aspects that make this walkable memorial such an adventure. From the grassy field that holds statues of soldiers, to the glassy wall presenting life-like photos, there is just so much that you are able to see.

Upon walking on, there was a sense of pride, knowing that some of our ancestors fought for us and how it connects to us on a personal level, including for myself. My paternal grandfather fought in this war, and it makes me happy that I am able to look at this memorial and really understand and connect to it. There is so more to see here, and we are happy to get off to a great start.
