Capitol Tour


The tour of the Capitol has been very interesting. We saw the main dome and old Senate house. The architecture was amazing to see! The underside of the dome had paintings encircling the entire dome, along with a lot of statues and paintings of many historical figures.

All of the things we have seen so far in the District of Colombia have had unbelievable architecture. The Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol building, and all of the war memorials have been designed with great care and effort. The Americans definitely created this city so that its architecture was the best in the country.

    If you think about how old the Capitol is, it is amazing what was accomplished before today's technology. Sounds like you are seeing a lot.
