The Vietnam Memorial is definitely a breathtaking experience. Walking up, it just looks like a normal black wall, but looking closer, you can see hundreds of names of people that served and were killed in the Vietnam War. It's tragic that so many people died during this war, but it is a great thing that they have this wall to honor them.
There are many people that search for their loved ones names on the wall. They may be taking a picture or even crying while remembering their family member or close friends. I'm glad I could get the chance to visit this beautiful place, and I hope many others will come too.
