A Whole New World

Going over the Zakim Bridge, I realized that I was really going to Washington, DC. The bus ride to the airport was quick and painless. When we got off the bus, we came into this big, open room with stations of plane companies, and we got in line for Southwest Airlines. It took about 20 minutes to have the whole school go through baggage check. Then, we went through the security check with no problem.

Once up the escalator, it was a whole new world. It had everything - Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and all sorts of other food. Everyone got something, and it was a mob house at Dunkin's. I haven't boarded the plane yet, but I can't wait to land and visit all the memorials.

  1. Did you know that Leonard Zakim was a Boston civil rights leader?
